Mahila Samakhya is a programme of the Government of India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education and Literacy for the empowerment of women.

Jharkhand Mahila Samakhya Society (JMSS) is an autonomous society, registered in 2006 under society registration act 1860. JMSS has been implementing the national Mahila Samakhya  (MS) programme as envisaged  in the national policy of education 1986.
